SUMMARY:Benelux Mobility-as-a-Service (‘MaaS’) project day
DESCRIPTION:This event is led by the Benelux/NRW Living Laboratory for MaaS. It is invitation-only. \nMobilityData will present its perspective on the convergence of standards. \nThe Benelux MaaS project\, also called ‘Benelux/NRW Living Laboratory for MaaS’\, is a project supported by different regions within the Benelux Area\, and by Nord-Rhine Westphalia (NRW). In this first step\, the goal of the project is to establish a common ground between different stakeholders to facilitate a multimodal\, seamless\, cross border travel experience between the different Benelux regions. \nThe Working Group aims to design a common solution for the booking\, validation and justification of payment for all types of public transport. The starting point of the project is the cross border ticketing project of both the ‘Aachener Verkehrsverbund’ and the ‘Limburg MaaS project’. Through their applications a passenger can check in on either side of the border and check out on the other side\, using their home account.

We talk MOMENTUM\, dealing with disruption and data sharing. It is a packed agenda\, exploring the cutting edge issues in sustainable urban mobility. \nSession # 1 \nDeciding with Momentum \nHow can cities exploit the full potential of emerging mobility solutions? EU-funded MOMENTUM project developed a set of new data analysis methods\, transport models and planning support tools\, to capture the impact of new transport options on urban mobility\, and help cities design the right policy mix. As the project draws to a close\, it’s time to share key insights. \nSession # 2 \nDelivering with Disruption \nAs successive climate crisis alarms increase the pressure to decarbonize transport\, and digital technologies feed an ever-growing variety of new mobility services\, key questions remain. In this session we’ll have a structured dialogue\, properly facilitated and open to all participants. Input will be used to inspire and support POLIS activities and its members. \nSession # 3 — Featuring Newton DAVIS and Tu-Tho THAI from MobilityData  \nDealing with Data \nMany people call data the “new oil”\, and it seems to be popping up everywhere – fuelling business\, boosting research\, driving decisions.
