Vancouver Edition
Shape the Future of Mobility Data: Collaborate, Innovate, Lead
Where
Stanley Park Pavilion, 610 Pipeline Rd, Vancouver, BC V6G 1Z4
When
October 7-8, 2025
In June, we hosted our first 2025 Workshop in Paris.
This workshop brought together 65 participants from 15 countries, each contributing diverse perspectives on what’s working, what’s challenging and, most importantly, where we go from here.
The energy in the room was electric as transit authorities, operators, National Access Points, tech vendors, and trip-planning platforms rolled up their sleeves to co-create practical solutions. It was a vivid reminder: collaboration isn’t just powerful – it’s essential.
Let’s keep the momentum going! Our final Workshop of 2025 is happening in Vancouver and we’d love for you to be part of it. Don’t miss this chance to collaborate, connect, and help shape the future of mobility data!

Using Data to Power Seamless Mobility During Major Events
- 2 h
- Ballroom
Description:
When a city hosts major events like the Olympics, the World Cup, or other major sporting and cultural events, the stakes for public transit skyrocket. Quality of the mobility experience for mass crowds can make or break the event’s success. Complete, accurate, and timely transit information becomes not just helpful, but essential.
In this interactive session, participants will learn from one another as agencies, trip planners and other key stakeholders who have or will have to take on the challenge of navigating the complexities of leveraging GTFS & GBFS data to manage mobility during large-scale events. We will come together to share best practices, explore data strategies that keep people moving, and openly discuss the challenges and missteps they encountered – so we can all build better solutions together.
Expect a candid, practical exchange of experiences designed to spark mutual learning and inspire new approaches for any city preparing for its own “big moment.”

As cities increasingly look to Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) to deliver seamless, sustainable transportation options, shared mobility integration with public transit remains a major challenge and a vital opportunity. This hands-on, multi-stakeholder workshop invites mobility operators, transit agencies, MaaS platforms, and tech providers to collaboratively identify real barriers and design potential solutions for a more connected, user-centric mobility ecosystem.
Through real-world examples, from partial to full integration models, participants will explore the critical building blocks of successful integration: planning, booking, payment, and data-sharing.
Using an interactive format, stakeholders will rotate through different perspectives – user, operator, and tech provider – to build empathy, surface friction points, and co-create integration concepts or pilot use cases that leverage shared data and deliver mutual value.
Whether you’re a transit agency seeking better discovery, a micromobility operator aiming to scale, or a platform provider hungry for alignment, this workshop will help you move from siloed solutions to actionable pilots.
