What is a Working Group?
GTFS working group meetings organized by MobilityData facilitate synchronous discussions within the community to build consensus on:
- Specification proposal ideas
- Technical design of proposals
- Guidance documents and best practices
These discussions are technical in nature and focus primarily on solutions.
How it works:
We meet monthly on Tuesdays via Zoom. Materials are shared beforehand, summaries posted after.
Three focus areas:
- Station Modeling — Defining complex transit hubs
- Service Alerts — Real-time disruption info
- Fares — Ticketing and pricing structures
