The GBFS Implementation Guide is Now Live
The General Bikeshare Feed Specification (GBFS) has become a cornerstone of the shared mobility ecosystem, providing crucial information to both providers and consumers of shared mobility services. To address the needs of the GBFS community, we began researching the best practices for publishing GBFS feeds. Through interviews with 11 GBFS community members, including producers, consumers, and newcomers, we’ve gathered valuable insights on how they successfully implemented the scripts to publish their GBFS feeds. From these insights, we’ve crafted an Implementation Guide for GBFS Producers aimed at assisting technical teams of shared mobility services in their journey toward seamless GBFS feed publication.
