POLIS Conference

Tu-Tho Thai, Director of Partnerships and Events, will host deep-dive session at the POLIS Conference

The Annual POLIS Conference provides an opportunity for cities and regions to showcase their transport achievements to a large audience of mobility experts, practitioners and decision-makers.

Across two days, the Annual POLIS Conference 2022 will offer a mix of plenaries, parallel sessions, and deep dives focused on some of the hottest topics that are high on the mobility agenda of cities and regions.

From SUMP innovation for climate mitigation to hands-on safety solutions, and from the steps ahead towards a Just Transition to unlocking the value of data, we picked practices, innovations, plans and actions marked by relevance, originality and, most importantly, an action-oriented approach. Want to know more?

Details of the session hosted by MobilityData:

Local and regional authorities,

You play an essential role in the ecosystem to build sustainable mobility for all of us. You are the ones providing much-needed infrastructure (e.g. bikeways, roads, etc.) and the ones who take the lead in making sure their citizens get the chance to go seamlessly from A to B relying on their preferred mobility services.

To accomplish this, you are often faced with data questions and have to choose which way to go when it comes to licensing, reporting, and urban planning. We know that the list of existing standards and specifications can be daunting. So, we have designed this interactive session for you.

Over the course of 90 minutes, experts representing all existing standards and specifications will tell you all about them and answer your questions. The goal of this deep dive is designed for you to walk away with clear actions to leverage data and unleash your mobility planning power.

Represented standards/specifications and initiatives:

  • Transmodel suite (NeTEx, SIRI) by DATA4PT
  • GxFS (GBFS, GTFS Schedule, GTFS Realtime) by MobilityData
  • TOMP-API by TOMP-WG
  • MDS and CDS by the Open Mobility Foundation
  • CDS-M by the DAT.Mobility

Outline of the discussion:

  • Definitions of each standards/specifications
  • Existing tools to leverage them
  • How to get involved
  • Open floor
