MaaS Alliance signs MoU with MobilityData
The MaaS Alliance and MobilityData enter into a Strategic Partnership to support knowledge-sharing and collaboration to create momentum and scalability for sustainable mobility services and MaaS and wide use of data in the mobility ecosystem.
The collaboration of Parties will focus on knowledge exchange on the development of MaaS and sustainable mobility in cities while cooperating in technical work to support the development of MaaS and cities to embrace the opportunities of MaaS.
The partnership has been established on a base of mutual collaboration for sharing knowledge about sustainable and data-driven mobility transformation based upon the principles of mutual respect, reciprocal benefits and equal opportunity for discussions.
The MaaS Alliance is a global public-private partnership creating the foundations for a common approach to Mobility as a Service (MaaS), unlocking the economies of scale needed for successful implementation and take-up of MaaS in Europe and beyond.
MobilityData is an international non-profit organization registered in both Canada and France with the mission to improve travellers’ information. MobilityData acts as an industry facilitator, creating opportunities for strengthened interoperability via the standardization and expansion of data formats such as GTFS and GBFS. It also assists the industry’s rapid transformation through training and tools.
